I've had several people ask if TapStar is really just asking too much right now of an already struggling hospitality industry. I always respond that attention to quality is more important now than ever. 1/5 https://twitter.com/goodbeerhunting/status/1343647915470778368
Everyone knows lots of people are struggling financially right now. When they do decide to actually spend money on (safely) going out for a drink, do you think they'll be ok with a sub-par glass of beer? 2/5
Think of it like dining out. If you love dining out but now you can only afford to go out once a month, are you going to be ok with a mediocre meal? Of course not. You're going to be pretty selective about where you go and you won't be very happy if the food isn't great. 3/5
And if you're in the hospitality business right now, you can't afford to lose a single customer. Skimping on quality is a recipe for disaster. And draft quality issues abound right now. TapStar is an opportunity for businesses to show they care about quality. 4/5
Thanks to @kbernot and @goodbeerhunting for this recognition. I have high hopes for this project and lots of work to do. 5
