[Allegedly] Dr Umar was having a bad day. Having just finished a lecture, he was mobbed by fans at the end of it taking pictures for hours. Exhausted, he came back to his hotel but couldn’t find his room. He was still pressured by thousands to respond to Seti.
The Prince of Pan-Africanism exploded. He slapped on the infamous red beanie and decided to go live on Facebook and cut a 45 min WWE promo on Seti. Here were the best bits...
The WWE promo style rant would instantly make Dr Umar a trending topic on Twitter.
3 days after the infamous rant, Dr Umar would issue an apology to the black community.
