"Cancel Culture" is bullshit unless you're referring to survivors being ostracized for publically naming who harmed them and how.
(cw) Thinking about when I publically named 30+ rapists and abusers on my campus & I got official college discilpline while they faced (temporary) social consequences.
Or more recently when I pointed out a prominent white male tenant organizer abuses and preys on Black women in a public setting & other organizers with the tenant union told me if I had issues with him I shouldn't come to their meetings.
People don't engage in public callouts for fun we do it because we don't have access to other ways to address our harm, and then we face further consequences for speaking out. Cancel culture my ass lol.
