In what point of any of this as laid out by the Constitution or law does the VP acting on his own disqualify electoral college votes or a slate of state electors?
What the VP will do is when objections are made, he will open up the electoral college votes from ALL SEVEN STATES that sent competing slates of electors. Then it's up to the House and then the Senate to adjourn & vote about which slate to accept in response to the objections.
Trump has agency. And he's been using it. He's been getting ready for this for months, this contingency.
