Actually, many Continental Africans & Afro Caribbean People have consistently supported & fought for the liberation of Black Americans. To name a few, there was Minister Laura Adorkor of Ghana who traveled to the U.S in the 1920s because she believed God showed her a vision 1/2 https://twitter.com/BluBillion/status/1343384425422348290
to liberate Black Americans & return them to Africa. She had a very large following, until she was assassinated at the pulpit of her church by some coons who didn't wanna return to Africa.
There was Wellington Buthelezi, a Xhosa chief in South Africa who built an army, gathered weapons & asked his people to give up their land, so Black Americans could return to Africa & build their own nation. No one ever returned.
There was Edward Wilmot Blyden of the Danish Virgin Island who acquired a lot of land in Sierra Leone, then traveled to the U.S to convince Black Americans to return to Africa. He went to Black churches around the country preaching his message, but he was rejected.
Haiti had a "Right to return" policy. They usually bought Slaves from American Auctions & Slave ship captains & sent them to Haiti.
The was Julius Nyerere of Tanzania who offered sanctuary to any Black Americans fleeing persecution. Matter of several of the Black Panthers were given asylum in Tanzania & Julius Nyerere refused to extradite the back to the U.S even after threats from the U.S government.
Oh, and the only time the issue of reparations was ever brought before the United Nations at the Durban Summit against racism in 2001, all Black African countries voted in favor of reparations for Black Americans. The U.S voted against the issue. 🤷🏿‍♂️
