The most nonsensical anti-Font argument is that he’s nothing without Xavi. First, it suggests ignorance— I suggest you do further research. Second, it’s not true. We can go through superficial reviews of three categories of his project: sporting, social and economic.
Sporting: Font w/o Xavi is impossible, he is a cornerstone, like Cruyff was for Laporta in 2003. So the premise is false. But even so, Font has Vila for methodology, Nadal is innovative solution to morale/mental team issues and he will soon present (likely prolific) key signings.
Social: Font is for online voting (socis voted for his 2019 general assembly proposal) and eager to let socis them more often (e.g. on jerseys, Espai Barça etc). This make him unique in the race. Laporta called him an “assembling” candidate. More democracy in a democratic club.
Economic: As someone who does not understand economics, even I get that Font has since 2015 predicted and planned towards the currently economic mess Barça is in. Together w post-Messi he called it a “perfect storm”— the plan to combat it is the FOUNDING PILLAR of SiAlFutur.

So if you continue the Xavi BS, educate yourself or expect a mute.

In how many other elite clubs in the world do a dozen of middle-ages/old men in suits have to agree on signing first team players? Laporta going from Cruyff and Txiki to Alemany as his highest sports advisor might be the most significant downgrade to his project compared to 2003.
I will not start on Laporta, other than what I’ve said: great can’t hate him, could poach Font’s best people if he wins. But don’t fool yourselves into believing he has the best project now. As @JoanFontes suggests, it’s hard see what the details actually are.
Laporta’s followers should ask questions like: where are the other people of his campaign? What are they saying? Why is he openly consolidating himself with *Rosell* and Grupo Godo? Why will Bartomeu vote for him? The (rational, not ridiculous) answers might be uncomfortable.
Anyways, as I always say, we should also be content that the two favourites are faaaar more competent than Rosell and Bartomeu. My hope for Laporta if he wins is to try to convince Font’s best people to join the club under him. Some might’ve rejected Laporta in the first place.
