How To Make A Difference (as far as I know):
1) Attend your local county (Dem or GOP) party events. Become a regular. Get on the email list. Become a monthly supporter if you can afford it ($10 per mo for me).

Democrat Latinos of Miami-Dade County, LGBTQ Democrats of Fulton County, etc. Know the leaders & members of these clubs. Attend their functions. Support them. These clubs impact the bottom line.

Don't kid yourself. Churches hold tremendous sway in politics. You need to know who the influential members of every church. From the pastors on down. Plus, going to church is just a good idea in general, if you ask me.

issues are being discussed. What's the current hot button issue? When you're at the county party events, club events, church services, ask people how they feel about it?
5) Start a database. Start small & grow it out. What are the 5 biggest towns/cities in your area? List out 4/

the mayor, police chief, city council members for each city. Call the Chamber of Commerce. Talk to the director. Find out who is the new business in town. Hit pause on that Amazon purchase and go buy something from the new business in town. Make a friend.

your State House Representative is. Know who your State Senator is. Know who their chief of staff is. Call them. Introduce yourself. Know who all of the congressional members in your state are. For all of these people. Look up their voting record. Their list of donors. 6/
7) Last but certainly not least. Find some charitable organizations in your community to volunteer for. Become a regular volunteer. Find friends who volunteer for these charities.
If you do even half of this, won't be long before people start asking you to run for office. 7/7
