There is nothing wrong in questioning Lampard's decisions and tactics. You haven't been a Chelsea fan for long enough if you didn't shout at him for shooting and missing while a striker was free in front of the goal.
It's stupid to argue with “He's Frank Lampard” but it's worse to call for a sacking because of a slump. There were clear signs of progress and a system before the Leeds game and this is just a small blip.
Once again, a slump during the season isn't anything new to Chelsea. There were slumps under Jose, Carlo, and even Ranieri - with much better squads and against worse opponents.
Simply sacking and getting in a new manager wouldn't do anything to solidify the club's future. It's going to be trophies over the cracks once again.
The club is finally changing its methods and slowly moving in the direction everyone wants it to. Such small hiccups are bound to occur, and things could be worse next time this happens.
Being #LampardIn or #LampardOut doesn't define you as a 'proper fan' or a 'plastic fan', that argument is stupid. Everyone wants the club to succeed - some have patience, some don't. It's as simple as that.
As for Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, I'm not concerned one bit. Players take time to adjust, not everyone shines from the start like Aguero and Bruno. Luis Suarez, Bergkamp and several others took time to settle in the Premier League.
