Well, after months of covering Covid-19, it appears I've contracted it.

Once tests were widely available this summer, I got in the habit of getting tested regularly out of precaution.
If I hadn't gotten a test yesterday just because, I wouldn't know I have it, and I would have gone grocery shopping and played tennis this afternoon.

Usually when people share that they've contracted covid, they tell others to wear a mask. That's a given.
My plea to you is to get tested — often if your job exposes you or if you're going out. We have the capacity for it. https://www.dallasnews.com/news/public-health/2020/12/24/how-one-company-can-test-up-to-50000-texans-a-day-for-covid-19-for-free-without-a-nose-swab/

One more thing: I tested negative on a rapid test yesterday.
The doctor suggested I do a PCR, and I tested positive on that — a perfect example of why one negative test doesn't mean much.
