... my question is, what context is there in which white people NEED to say "nigga"? It's VERY easy to use another word. VERY. Like... incredibly simple to just not say it. Black people using "nigga" among each other is not a rap thing, it's not a hip hop thing, it's not something White folks just discovered Black people doing in the '90s, it's not a fcking trend. Stop acting like it is.
Even as we're fighting for our humanity RIGHT NOW, still, it amazes me how Black folks wanna philosophize as though we're in a post racial era.

A bunch of us just watched @MaRaineyFilm, right? August Wilson, TONY & Pulitzer winner, "the theater's poet of Black America," has nigga peppered allllll throughout his dialogue in the Century Series plays. The "but hip hop culture" argument is limited and, frankly, ignorant.
