This will be my thread about my prediction/wish for the Bears offseason

First of all it was reported that Matt Nagy will be kept, I feel like this game should be the decision but I don’t have that choice so he will stay

Next Ted Phillips has to be gone and like my first one Ryan Pace will be PROMOTED to President and Ed Dodds will be signed as the GM

Chuck Pagano can get tf out and the Bears will hire Dan Quinn, a 4-3 DC who will change the horrible defensive scheme the Bears have rn

Now comes free agency where the Bears don’t have too much money to work with so re-working contracts like Mack, Goldman, Whitehair, Fuller, Jackson are gonna be vital to give us enough money

My first move, contrary to what I said in my first one, is to resign Allen Robinson to a 4 yr/70mil deal, obviously back-loaded

Then comes the big one... Mitch

4yr/85 mil (10 mil guaranteed)

Year 1: 10 mil (guaranteed)
Year 2: 20 mil
Year 3: 25 mil
Year 4: 30 mil

It’s basically an incentive based deal
or a 1 yr deal

Now some cuts... Skrine, Graham (

) and Massie are my cuts to free up about 13 mil in cap space and leaves us at holes at RT and TE2. Shelley the Slot CB now

Now since we have moved to a 4-3 under Quinn, the play of Edwards, Urban, Bilal, and the addition of Goldman makes Akiem a trade piece. Trade Akiem for a 3rd and 4th round pick in the draft

I would draft a tackle but I love Taylor Moton way too much to not pick him up. 5yr/73 mil to be our future RT

I’ve changed my mind midway through

Keep Jimmy but restructure his contract. I think he’s important in 12 personnel which Mitch excels in

Now time for the draft. Some needs are QB, MLB (4-3), OT, IOL, SS
