I've said it before and I'll say it again, but here's more evidence of how much of this crisis (in Ontario at least) is an organizational failure. "Hospitals are not staffed sufficiently to deliver the vaccine during holidays" should lead to "so therefore we are developing a plan to solve that problem and deliver the vaccine over the holidays" not to "so oh well, not our fault!"
Also, while the vaccine itself only arrived in Ontario recently, the province has known that it would be vaccinating people in a big hurry, and with potential storage/transport issues, and had many months to get a plan in place for how to staff vaccination clinics 7 days/week.
