3 million mid-sized and larger organizations now have to active their cybersecurity teams to watch and respond to a state-level attack.

This is untenable. #infosec #cybersecurity

Let's take an alternative view: "We expect Country X to launch missiles somewhere in our territory, every company should man your private anti-missile defenses."

In no other domain are the billions of companies and organizations worldwide expected to bear the responsibility of protecting themselves against state-level attacks several times per/year.

Even with the greatest public-private partnerships that actually *work* you cannot scale #cybersecurity sufficiently to protect 28+ million businesses in the US alone let alone the billions worldwide.
