Why you should watch Akudama Drive: A thread for those who wish to watch the anime but haven't gotten the time to do it.
1. THE STUNNING VISUALS: This anime e m b r a c e s the cyberpunk aesthetic right into the core. From its character introductions to the scenery, it delivers such breathtaking visuals.
2. THE ICONIC CAST: The main characters consist of the akudamas and each of them has their own unique personalities and dynamics. Not to mention that they're a pretty well-written cast.

3. THE PLOT: To be spoiler-free, the anime is about how an ordinary citizen turns into one of Kansai's most wanted criminals thanks to them getting involved on a top-secret mission with a group of criminals who are known as the Akudamas.
Besides that, it's also about how sometimes the 'villains' might as well be the good guys as well.
When it comes to the pacing, for a 12 episode anime, it's done pretty well. I have to admit, it has a fast pace but it so well done that it makes the viewer understand well what's going on in the story.
4. THE ANIME IS UNIQUE AND ONE OF A KIND: From the plot to its aesthetics, the show is so unique and it's such a never before seen type of thing that it makes the viewer get indulged with it.

7. THE ENDING: I'm gonna be so spoiler-free to the extreme here, for it being a 12 episode anime, Akudama Drive has a well-written and statisfying ending and it's such a rare thing to see short animes with those types of endings these days.
