2 Easy Ways to Come out of every Negotiation With More Money.

In every negotiation,

both sides have a price for themselves and their counterpart.

What if we could influence the other side to bump up OUR own price...

without them knowing?

//Thread//
1. Always let the other guy go first... most of the time.

I suggest you let the other guy anchor the price negotiations.

Because neither side has perfect information going to the table,

we don't fully know what the other guy wants or is willing to pay.
If you're dealing with beginner negotiators,

You might get lucky.

Here's why.

They will name a price,

and it will be higher than the closing figure you had in mind.

This is ideal.
Now since this happened,

Yes, you get more money. A lot more.

but you MUST exceed their expectations and over deliver on literally everything.

Win. Win.

This happened because you let them go first.
If you're dealing with sharks (you'll know)

Most of the time, do NOT go first.

They will be going for an extreme anchor to bend your reality.

Then, when they come back with an absurd offer,

it will seem reasonable.

This puts you in a very bad position.
Best way to get out of this position,

is to not get there at all.
2. Establish a Perceived Range

We are going to bend their reality in this process.

What do I mean?

When confronted with naming your price,

counter by recalling a similar deal that has happened in your niche.

Example:
"At *other lead gen agency*, my buddy over there is charging $3500 for this same service. "

This gets him thinking at higher levels.

Research shows that people who hear extreme anchors,

unconsciously adjust their expectations in the direction of the opening number.
$2000 looks cheap compared to $3500.

Does this lower perceived value?

Yes and no.

You must realize that people are cheap as fuck.

People will take greater risks to avoid losses than to achieve gains.

They are thinking they're saving $1500,

rather than spending $2000.
This is getting way too long, gonna cut it here.
