So now that I'm a fair way deep into cyberpunk let's talk about it a bit more than the surface level shite that everyone is goofing on
The technical bugs and ugly look of a lot of the stuff on PS4 is just what it is, it's never going to look like a beautiful baby on ancient hardware but it still does look pretty damn nice in certain conditions
Gameplay. This is just something I don't see people actually talking about. The combat is really fun once you get used to it. Enemies are a bit bullet spongy which makes stealth literally impossible unless you only do stealth takedowns because if you don't kill a guy in one shot
Everyone gets alerted to your presence. Stealth is a mechanic that is always choppy in games like this because it's such a complicated gameplay style if you haven't built your whole game around the mechanic it's always second rate
Melee combat is really fun and visceral limbs flying everywhere etc. Importantly it's also a viable build the upgrade paths make you a melee machine if that's how you chose to go
I actually really like the crafting system, it's pretty bog standard like you just deconstruct everything for parts and then can upgrade your gear to give it a higher level or make brand new stuff on the fly, no mucking about looking for gunsmiths or something, I like that
The plot is very straight forward fare for basically all of the cyberpunk genre, no real surprises to be honest but the character work I think is really excellent. The sidequests for all the characters you meet are engaging and fleshed out and multi-tiered
Basically putting the Bioware companion quests to shame
I like getting calls from random fixers too giving me work rather than having to keep going back to them for whatever the next quest they have is, it keeps the pace of exploration up
Cyberware and hacking is great too, the only really disappointing thing with cyberware is that a lot of it is just percentage buffs to your stats and not new ways to play the game. There's no stealth camo for example and the slow motion sliding and dodging stuff is a bit jank
On a controller because you aim so slowly it's hard to actually get anything out of it.

Really like quickhacking as an idea but it could do with some more variety in what it's good for, mostly just damage over time stuff.
And the actual hacking minigame is great because it's very quick to do which has been a massive problem for repetitive minigames in the past where they just take forever
The only really bad part of the gameplay is the driving because the traffic AI is terrible people just plow into you and keep going like nothing happened, really poorly done. The cars also drive bad like they just fly all over the place and skid on a dime
That's about it for now. It's a solid 7.5-8/10.

The big issue is that even though it's fun and has a lot of good stuff in there there's nothing really new or fresh about it, CDPR shook up the open world action game formula with Witcher 3 but now they're just stagnating in it
Because the industry caught up with them and now this just blends in from a gameplay perspective...
