Some thoughts about EHYZ.

But ironically, the bad guys act more like human beings (selfish & rebellious) than the good childs who thinks they can save the world by following instructions from the adults.

Ymir's miserable life is already an obvious parallel to Historia's without Eren on her side, consider further into their personalities, I like to think the true-self of Ymir isn't a gentle good girl but she is a selfish rebellious girl like Historia and Eren.

And as Isayama said the story is revolving around "killing the father" & "surpassing the father", it's true EH don't inherit their father's personalities

but they inherit it from most important ancestor, it's kinda like a way to say they keep the basic nature of a human being.

So it's better to see Ymir isn't a pure good girl, having a dark side means she's not a braindead slave, having her own freewill & selfishness as herself being constrained is what made Ymir true human like Historia.
And it wasn't Founder Ymir but Fake Ymir was the real good girl Krista, who's actually selfless.

Thus, antagonizing Founder Ymir to me is no different from praising Zeke's ideology and antagonizing Historia & Eren.
