jsyk feminism isn't about who pays for the meal at a date. it's more about bigger things like women being allowed to receive health care without needing permission from a male guardian in Yemen. the female gender being able to access higher education without a male guardian,
ensuring that women get to enjoy their right to freedom of movement in Saudi Arabia. the girl child not having to be subjected to female genital mutilation in Egypt. women being allowed to own a land in Botswana. women having their names on their birth certificates in Afghanistan
a female child going to school, the fight against child marriage and the struggle against sexual, physical and verbal abuse. these are just a few, it's not about a silly date, that's just a prerequisite to sexual intercourse. don't drop opinions when you're ill-informed
please educate yourself and stop throwing the word around and using it as you please.
