2020 WAS MY BEST YEAR 👇 👇 👇 (thread)
For obvious reasons, this year was challenging for many. But let me just share a few of my accomplishments:
-Became a certified personal trainer
-Started my own business
-Found a platform to inspire others
-Trained myself to look at challenges as OPPORTUNITIES to become better
The person I am now is completely different from who I was just a year ago. I could have caved to everything that was going on and proclaim “everything sucks” like so many others did. I don't blame them for that, things were definitely crazy this year
But I didn’t. And if I’m being honest, I haven’t been depressed in FOREVER

I REJECTED the victim mindset. Instead, I learned to adapt and grew as a person because of it. I broke out of the preconceived notions that I had of myself and realised that limits were meant to be broken
Looking back, all of the challenges that this year presented were obstacles I overcame, and in the end, I matured. I now see everything that life throws at me as OPPORTUNITIES, not roadblocks.
I'm now making a career helping people gain confidence, get in shape, and improve the overall quality of their lives. I'm so happy that I get the chance to guide others and get them out of a rut they may be in.
I’m not going to lie and say that it was easy. In fact, it was insanely challenging at times (I imagine it was for everyone else as well). We cannot control the events that happen in our lives, but we CAN control how we react and what we take away from them.
If 2020 was a terrible year, then I can safely say I’m excited as hell for 2021
