Pretty pleased that the Julian Brandt to Arsenal rumours seem to be gathering pace but I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THE NEED ANOTHER CM especially with Partey's injury issues .... thread

Brandt would be an ideal signing for our creativity problems but he isn't expected to just magically do things...he needs someone to give him the ball ....needs a specialist 8....as we've seen now ceballos as well as Elneny isn't the answer and Partey has been injured

In an ideal world I'd have Aouar as the 8 and Brandt as the 10 flanked by Saka and Martinelli with Auba up top.... that is a side that wouldn't struggle for creativity and Auba would just have to finish off the chances

That's Said Julian Brandt under Peter Bosz at Leverkusen was often played in multiple positions many a times in central midfield with the tenacious midfielder Aranguiz who gave Brandt the freedom to create havoc

So Brandt could also be paired in a 4-3-3 which doesn't have a 10 but his job wouldn't be too different .... but as we've seen arsenal currently doesn't have the players to play such a system so a 4-2-3-1 would be suitable at the moment

At the moment seems Arsenal's creativity shortlist comes down to Buendia and Brandt (until now as per reports) ...I'd like us to show some ambition and get both if possible complimented by Aouar in the summer as I believe Buendia can play on the right as well as an 8 like Brandt

That said we'd like to see ambition from the club ....I really hate the permutations with arsenal why can't we go for quality players at the same time...why does it have to be Brandt or Aouar or Buendia while they are not the same type of players?

Our youngsters are pulling us through at the moment but there's no way they are supposed to play such a large amount of games we need options that will compliment them going forward and I'm hoping for an ambitious arsenal in the coming transfer window

I see no reason not to sign Brandt and Buendia in January and if we can meet Aouar's expectations then a move could happen in the summer Buendia 25£m is enough while Brandt would be available for 30-35£m bargains IMO
