Later, Parashurama meditated on Lord Shankar for the destruction of the Haihayavanshi Kshatriyas and asked for Vijaya bow, then Lord Shankar gave this bow from Indra to Parashurama.
Karna told lies to learn archery and Brahmastra from Lord Parshuram and when Parshuram came to know about this, he said that you will forget this learning when you need this.
Then later, Parshuram took pity, and he blessed Karna with this Vijaya bow and said that you will have indelible fame.
