Both teams started 4-2-3-1. With surprise being blasters team going with only 3 foreigners due to injuries. Costa not playing was a setback. His Injury will be a concern. As I think Costa is the best defender in the squad. #YennumYellow #ISL 1/14

Blasters played with a all Indian backline. With both Hakku and Sandeep getting their first starts in this season. Boy did they take that opportunity. Both were really good. Hakku is brilliant aerially and Sandeep is real good in one-one defending. #YennumYellow #ISL 2/14

I think Sandeep is a more rounded defender. Hakku's goal came from his aerial ability and he was using that to defend also. Both of them were brilliant. I do think Kibu has a headache now to whom to start alongside Costa. It might be Sandeep bcoz of what he offers. #YennumYellow
Sahal again started as a Wide 10 (Left this time). With Facundo playing the 10. Rahul on Right and Murray up top. I have to say that the dynamism of Murray is essential to our attack. He does work a lot. His finishing might not be Hooper's standards. But his work rate is double.
Both Rahul and Sahal were switching flanks constantly. This is good to confuse the opposition defensive system. As both are different type of players. And threat both offers are entirely different. Rahul was brilliant with his work rate again. #YennumYellow #Isl 5/14

One thing Kibu changed for this match is he didn't set the team up to have more poseession. Kibu seems to have realised that this team has to long way to develop before dominating a game with poseession. So Kibu set the team upto work a lot and press a lot. #YennumYellow 6/14

Hyderabad also like to play out from the back. Blasters didn't allow that once the ball is played into their defenders, our pressing will start. Which all our top 6 did relentlessly. They ran their socks off in this game. That's what we want to see. #YennumYellow #ISL 7/14

Vicente and Jeakson both started as DM but they were allowed to press. And there were really good understanding with both of them. When one goes, the others sits. Vicente played more of an 8 role eventually. And both were really good in keeping Yasir and Hitesh quiet. 8/14
Both Full backs were not bombing up. Mostly to give better defensive support to our Indian CBs. And among them only Nishu was getting forward sometimes and whenever he does that Jeakson or Rahul covered that flank brilliantly. Jessel never really got into opposition half much.
Jeakson was terrific in midfield throughout the game. He can press and also he can step out of the press with the ball with dribbling. This guy is a real asset. Another one is Rahul. Again played on both flanks and for last 5-8 mins as a lone ST. #YennumYellow #ISL 10/14

I heard some saying Sahal was giving away too many passes. I don't really have a problem with that. Both Sahal and Facundo should have the freedom to do that. As they are the one's with the creative burden. Yes mispasses results in counters but that's what our defense is there.
We did drop off in the last 30 mins. Understandable after the work they put in. Albino was again really good. Kibu changed the system in the last period twice first to 4-4-2 and then 4-5-1. Rohit played a brilliant ball for the second goal. Rahul was again involved in it. 12/14
This Victory was possible due to the players mentality, motivation and workrate. They wanted that win. They worked their socks off for that. Credit to players and for Kibu to make them do that. This is good for not only for this season but for season to come. #YennumYellow 13/14

Because our's was a young Indian contingent. And they brought us the victory. This is as a fan I wanted to see our Indian players stepping up and performing. I don't mind the results of I see what I saw in the second half against EB and mostly the whole game against Hyderabad.
