In 2002, US forces capture Al Qaeda's chief of operations, Abu Zubaydah in Pakistan. The CIA interrogates him, using one set of white interrogators and one set of Arab American interrogators posing as Saudis. The goal was to scare him with the fake Saudis into cooperating.

This was because the Saudis had a more ruthless reputation. Instead, Zubaydah is relieved to see the Saudis. He immediately starts talking to them, telling them to call Prince Ahmed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz at a number he recites from memory. He names two other royals to call.

The interrogators play along and say that the royal family has cut Zubaydah loose after 9/11 and won't help him. Zubaydah says "bullshit," and says that the royal family knew about 9/11 in advance so nothing changed. When Zubaydah realizes he was tricked, he attempts suicide.

Six weeks later, Prince Ahmed dies of a heart attack at 43. The next day, another of the royals named by Zubaydah dies in a car accident en route to Ahmed's funeral. A week later the last royal named is found in the desert, dead from thirst.

This story was reported by Gerald Posner in "Why America Slept" and again by @craigunger in "House of Bush, House of Saud." Is it definitive proof the Saudi government's role in 9/11?

Without the deaths of all the people named by the captured Al Qaeda operative, the story would not have the same credibility. It challenges the official narrative that A) Saudi state actors were tied to AQ and 9/11 and B) no one had advance knowledge of 9/11.

Why is this relevant to today? Because this illustrates that the Saudi government has been continuously attacking the US for decades including by supporting the election of Donald Trump in 2016. So why is information about 9/11 being kept from the public, over multiple administrations, as state secrets? If we are not being given the true story, what other information is being concealed? Why does our government remain so close to Saudi Arabia despite their involvement?

Furthermore, can the fingerprints of the members of the coalition responsible for the 2016 election attack (beyond Saudi Arabia) be linked to the events of 9/11? The answer is yes, and lots of them. This merits further inquiry.

As I have always said, we are dealing with career criminals. Everything they do is a crime, and when there's more than one of them at an event a crime is being committed. It's just a question of figuring out what the crime is.
