idk who needs to hear this but it is not a stranger's responsibility to take care of minors on the internet. it's their parents. adults on the internt et already know how dangerous it is. we know there are predators everywhere, lurking behind the screens --
but it is certainly not my job to protect kids online. i can give them a warning or whatever but i am not their parents. if kids wanna be safe online, i suggest you priv your accs. tbh kids shouldnt be on the internet, especially with whats going on rn and we're online 24/7--
kids should not have a public acc bcs it is not safe. at all. i don't even post my real name online and i'm 22. bcs i grew up with parents that monitored me and made sure i dont post anything personal about me, unless it's with a mutual i fully trust.
that being said, i get what you guys mean when adults should take into consideration into who follows you and whatnot. but i dont have the time to check my followings list and make sure kids under 17 follows me. personally i dont like having them following me but i cant stop them
and at the same time, it's not my responsibility to make sure they stay safe online.
i'm not in anyway saying adults cant make sure minors are staying safe. im just saying that it's kinda unrealistic if you expect a stranger to look after kids they dont know.
