KBFC Match Thread

As always we will see some points
(1/15)
KBFC started with a 433 with Sahal and Jeakson staring along side Vicente. But slowly moved to a 4231 with a double pivot of Jeakson and Vicente, Sahal playing as a wide no 10, KP holding the width and coming inside, Murray up top and Pereira as the free roaming 10.
(2/15)
Against a team playing a compact defence KBFC had both Facundo and Sahal on between the lines to break through the opposition defense.
(3/15)
We played most of our football through the wide players. Vincente gomez whas dictating our play from deep with Jeakson singh covering and screening the defence behind
(4/15)
Off the ball, KBFC defended in a solid back 4 and with either of Rahul or Sahal up top with Murray being the first wave of press. We pressed less in opposite half and allowed Hyderabad to progress the ball, which HFC accepted happily.
(5/15)
Our back line was narrow and compact as the fullbacks kept narrowing and the wide players covering the width near our box.
(6/15)
The double pivot marked Jao Victor well and didn't let him supply to Yasir. Off the ball we never allowed Hyderabad Midfielders to find their tempo to the game.
(7/15)
The two goals scored by KBFC where result of precise and clinical finish. No goalkeeper in the world would have stopped those two.

Now Let us see some points

1. I said we where narrow in defending and allowed Hyderabad to progress through our half. There's a reason we did that
(9/15)
HFC have high flying full backs. By playing narrow we allowed HFC full backs to use the space on the wide area there by attracting them to the space. This worked as both the FBs left space behind which was exploited well by both Rahul and Sahal.
(10/15)
2. Versatile

Both Sahal and Rahul started switching wings often during the game. This with Facundo popping up every where along the box also made the opposition defence hard to spot who came on to which side.
(11/15)
3.Jeakson Singh.

With Vicente dictating the play it was Jeakson's job to screen the defence and cover the center of the park. He did his job well. Though he came up , tracking back wasn't an issue since he had the speed for it.
(12/15)
4. Murray should start more.
Yes he missed some chances but Murray contested for each and every ball and half chances he got. He's still young and learning. Surely he will convert those chances as his confidence grows
(13/15)
Players literally fought on the pitch, when the ball was lost in the middle , players where sprinting together to track it back.
(14/15)
This core of young players fought well for the team and for the fans when the win was necessary. Build the team around them and we will be giving opposition teams nightmares .
