Perhaps I’m wrong, but my initial impression is that Trump ultimately caved and his “formal rescission requests” will be rebuffed by Congress, who have shown no allegiance to the President, American People or Rule of Law.

If someone has more insight, I’m open to hear it.

The truth is that no one’s actions are above being questioned. Not Trump’s. Not mine.

5/ Final tweet on this for the moment. Important to consider Congress had the votes to over-ride a veto from Trump. Our biggest problem lies in Congress. Trump could have viewed this as his strongest option in the face of insurmountable opposition [that being the House & Senate].
