it always blows my mind that in almost any thread professors, PhD's, MD's, working professionals, college students, high school students and possibly middle school students are all in this same space known as https://Twitter.com 
Just odd because as a young teacher, I'm "teaching" and "mentoring" students who are between 8-11 years younger than me during the day, but on Twitter? nah, I might be arguing with people in that same age group
This may be a similar feeling to those who are about 10 years older than me, but it's still crazy to me that such a massive range of age groups are arguing in the same space.
and the result? Most of the time utter chaos, albeit there are many good thread "nuggets" hidden in the chaff.
e.g. I can hop into a thread where folks are discussing critical race theory, modern theories of economics, people's personal research projects in a very palatable manner to a wider audience
