On to the Fourth Round, where the 16 most badass tennis stadiums in the world do battle.

The world’s most famous tennis stadium seats 15,000 fans. The historic grass court defeated Beijng’s Lotus stadium in R3

Up against it is the largest bullring in Mexico, converted to a stadium for the Fed-Zverev exho last yr (42,517 attended). It beat the USO’s Grandstand in R3

Monte Carlo is performing how you’d expect it to thus far. It’s killed Montreal, Court Mathieu, & Wimb Court 18. The Mediterranean stadium holds 10k ppl

Las Ventas hosted the 2008 Spanish DC against the US, where it had a capacity of 24k. Took out Estoril’s Centralito in R3

Two of the three remaining grass stadiums go H2H, and cross-town rivals at that. Court 1 holds 12,345 fans & narrowly beat Umag in R3

Queens hosts one of the oldest tourneys in the world (1881) & has won several ATP tourney of the year awards. It beat Cincy R3

(WC) Buenos Aires (Weiss Stadium) - Argentina Davis Cup venue

Weiss got lots of help from the huge ARG voting block in this poll, taking out Kobe’s Bean Dome last rd. It hosted ARG Davis Cup in ‘06

The AO’s primary stadium, Laver Arena is 1 of the most recognizable in the world. It seats ~15k & beat retro contestant Forest Hills last rd

Rome - Campo Centrale

O2 - London
1 of 2 Roman stadiums remaining in the tourney (Pietrangeli), Centrale is the primary Roman court & seats ~10,500 fans. It defeated Acapulco last rd

The O2 is the 2nd largest tennis stadium in the world, holding 20k. It hosted the ATP Finals the last 12 years & beat (14)Halle R3

Kitzbuhel
vs
(6) Roland Garros - Court Suzanne Lenglen
Kitzbuhel’s stadium has hosted a tournament since 1894 and today is home to an ATP250. The premier Alpine stadium defeated Charleston’s green clay court in R3

Lenglen is the only Roland Garros stadium to make it past R2. The 10k capacity court beat Kooyong last round

(7) AO - Margaret Court Arena

Court is a beautiful design w/ a controversial name. The 7500 capacity stadium beat Madrid R3 by 2%

Pietrangeli is 1 of 2 Roman stadiums in the R16. Undoubtedly the most popular small stadium in the world, it only seats 3500. It’s destroyed its competition,cruising past Genoa R3

(2) US Open - Arthur Ashe Stadium
Santander hosted the 2000 ESP-US Davis Cup SF. Now it gets Ashe in R16. Santander beat ARG’s Court Vilas by 1 vote in R32

Ashe is home to the USO & is the largest tennis stadium in the world, holding 23,771. Night sessions at Ashe are unforgettable. It took out Hua Hin last rd
