a lot of what annoyed me about the response to that thread was people saying "well im nd and have anxiety and i hate it!" bc they were hitting the nail on the head but still missed the point. NOT EVERY ND PERSON HAS THE SAME OPINIONS AND EXPERIENCES! +
i have autism (among other neurodivegencies) and i find it helpful when people use tone indicators on stuff that everyone else thinks should be obvious! it helps me personally! but ik ppl who are ND and dont feel the way i do. AND THATS OKAY! but u shouldnt take it put on me +
or the person using the tone indicator! what u should do is talk to the person who "overuses" tone indicators and tell them that they shouldnt "overuse" them with YOU! everyone has different comfort levels with TIs and some ND ppl dont like them being used at ALL and thats ok!
