I was very fortunate to have a lot of fond memories with Brodie Lee over the years. From nearly a dozen matches together to sharing stories in locker rooms.

From meeting him early on in my career as I travelled to Upstate NY monthly in my humble beginnings. Pt 1

#RIPBrodieLee
From the first time we wrestled back in 2004 in Welland for RWI. One of my favourite matches that year, & one of the first times I had ever taken a piledriver

To seeing him team there, & wrestle a more light hearted fun style as he reenacted Bay Watch at a show on the beach. Pt2
To sharing countless locker rooms with him for NWA Upstate & UWA Hardcore

Anytime Brodie & Jimmy Olsen wrestled, it was pure magic & to this day some of their encounters sit among the top of my all time favourites

I still remember the energy the crowd had for their blowoff. Pt3
To sharing a ring with him at a huge Dragon Gate USA event on iPPV.

Brodie wanted to work with me that day on a big platform.

@BookItGabe made it happen, & for that I am very thankful.

Pt4
And to wrestling him once more just weeks before he moved up to @WWE at a local event in Buffalo for BCW

I remember this match fondly as it was a crazy snowstorm, but there was no way I was missing it

Brodie showed his true love for the @MapleLeafs here

Full match coming. Pt5
And even then, we were still able to keep in touch. I got hooked up with ringside tickets to a WWE live event in my hometown, & as Brodie dives outside the ring, what does he say but none other than - "Hi Rip!" & waves mid match. Truly a kind soul & a day I'll never forget. Pt6
Just a couple years ago when I got to do one of my WWE tryouts & extra work, who did I get to hangout with in catering? Brodie, Brodie Jr, & his wonderful wife Amanda. Playing with action figures & a video game with Brodie Jr as we chatted & caught up on old times. Pt7
I was super pumped to go see Brodie & reconnect just months ago back in late March of this year, but then the AEW Rochester event got cancelled due to the pandemic

Although his run in AEW wasn't that long, he accomplished a lot, & made a huge impact there while touching many Pt8
Brodie always had my back & looked out for me, & I always appreciated that & will never forget it.

The wrestling world lost one of the good ones yesterday. My sincerest & deepest condolences to his wife, kids & family & friends. Pt9

Rest in Peace Brodie Lee. #ripbrodielee
