I know and understand the mistrust towards the vaccine from my community. And I hear you.

But this is different. My grandmother died of covid. I just rejoined my family after taking my 5 year old son away to quarantine after he was exposed. Every week I try and counsel patients through dealing with another family member, dead, from covid.

This vaccine is our chance to return to some type of normalcy, to save lives. And seeing how covid is disproportionately affecting black communities, I fear that the mistrust that white supremacy has caused will doubly work against us in not getting vaccinated.

There’s a lot of misinformation out there. The vaccine can’t give you covid. Lucifer isn’t in it. It won’t alter your DNA. PLEASE if you have any questions about the vaccine or just want to challenge me on it, DM me. If I can’t answer your question I’ll find someone who can.
