I get so confused when my friends ask why my relationship with a certain person didn’t work out based on “but he loves you so much”. Someone loving you doesn’t necessarily mean you feel the same..

And I don’t think we should be pressurised to be with people when we no longer have feelings for them.. regardless of how well they treated you or how much they love you

And perhaps that’s why I understand how some people remain friends with their exes. Sometimes the relationship ends purely because feelings were no longer reciprocated. Not because you fought and now hate each other.

I’ve been on the most amazing dates this year and met the most amazing people, however, until I figure out exactly what I’m looking for, it wouldn’t be fair to date them properly just based on the fact that they like me while I feel nothing for them.
