The American church is doing just fine. The black church is doing what it’s always done, caring for the poor & marginalized. Indigenous churches are doing same. Immigrant churches are caring for sojourners & refugees. Even many majority Anglo churches are serving the Lord.

The White American church is the one having problems. The White American Church is being judged by God & is having its legacy of sin & idolatry exposed for the world to see. White Evangelicalism is in crisis, not the “American Church”.
This distinction really MATTERS!

When you talk about how bad off the “American church” is what you really mean is the “White American” or “White Evangelical and/or Liberalism” church. You are doing 1 of 2 things:
You’re either practicing erasure of black & POC Saints or you’re placing your issues on us.

W/ love, own your 
& don’t put that yoke on others who have nothing to do w/ it, or even worse, who are victims of it. Black & POC Christians have been striving to survive White Christianity for centuries; we are not responsible & we refuse any ownership of your .

also, Please stop centering yourself as if your corrupt & toxic expression of faith is the sun in which all other faith expressions must orbit. Have some humility to recognize you are but a planet & maybe even just a Pluto. You aren’t the church’s self-proclaimed ambassador.
