Think about how your diet-related talk may be deeply damaging to those who follow you
And just, kind of on that topic, January is quickly approaching+many, many companies are counting on you to hate your body so you can further their financial gains. They want their targeted advertisements to be seen as a "sign":
Your insecurity is breeding an impressionable state + their advertising is taking advantage of that. Many of these diets are just eating disorders masquerading as healthy lifestyle changes.
I took a toxic dive into keto last year and nearly screwed up my entire relationship with food and life, in general. I'm lucky I came back from that in one piece. Stay safe.

And look, this is a multi-billion dollar industry that's counting on us being totally dissatisfied with our bodies. The odds are stacked against us. It's hard not to succumb.
Be kind to yourself, but also consider how your performative interactions with food and diet may be destroying those around you.
If this feels personal, rest easy. We're all in this narrative together. It is pervasive. It is ubiquitous. It's not just you.

Lots of love.
I should have limited these tweets to who can reply. Please don't interact with me on this! Thank you!
I'm obviously not talking about someone drinking water + eating more vegetables or making sure to move around a bit each day, if they can. But if you're sanctimoniously talking about your juice cleanse or your paleo whatever, I can't follow you. It's not personal. It's survival.
