1/ Will the Senate runoffs be a hard lesson to GA politicians and lawmakers who insisted on (R's) or quietly tolerated (D's) the deployment of Dominion's touchscreen (BMD) system when, once again, they cannot actually confirm who wins?
2/ BMDs (touchscreens) put a hackable computer between the voter and her ballot. The computer prints the voter's choices into a QR code for counting. (Or does it?)
Voter cannot read QR code and great majority don't check the printout. (QR code may be different than text, too.)
3/ Since voters cannot read the official vote, and most don't review the printout, the "paper trail" is not trustworthy. A touchscreen vote for Candidate A and be encoded as vote for Candidate B.
Manual counts of paper can only test what machine printed, not what voter entered.
4/ What does that mean for the runoffs?
The hand marked mail ballots provide trustworthy proof of voters' choices. The BMD ballots (likely 75%) do not provide such proof.
GA voters must have blind faith that the touchscreens marked the ballots correctly. #gapol
5/ Why do we have this flawed $150 million Dominion black box system?
Because @GaSecofState and Rep. Barry Fleming demanded this in the 2019 legislature. It was essentially a party line vote-- https://twitter.com/MarilynRMarks1/status/1334235198691610625?s=20

7/ We at @CoalitionGoodGv have been engaged in this fight since 2018 to try to ward off this very bad decision to choose black box voting system.
