Nuclear started out bad and has gotten even worse
Hard to believe that folks are trying to push “new nukes” which would require extensive & expensive development and testing before arriving at the same dead end.
Please people: we need every one of those dollars for WWS!

This evaluation from 2015 describes some of the ways nuclear plants can’t help prevent climate change

Many in the nuclear industry are at or reaching retirement age. We need to shut the industry down as safely as possible while there are still folks who know how to do that - and then pray that we can keep the megatons of radioactive waste from causing a disaster.

The only way nuclear plants can prevent climate change is if one of them wiped out a world financial center & caused a catastrophic depression.
That really doesn’t sound like a good plan to me!

Sorry for display of anger but there have been so many years since we knew nuclear power was too dangerous & too expensive to use.
People are still pushing it for their own financial interests. How can they put those above the future of the world?
