The narrative needs to be clear throughout this entire process. Democrats worked to create stimulus for a pandemic that was widely known to last for at least just over a year and Republicans in the House and Senate ignored the bill and waited for this current relief to expire.
Then they used Fox News and right wing talk radio to spread disinformation and blame Democrats for "not negotiating" even though McConnell barely did press coverage outside of the Fox hole.
They tried to push significantly less protective legislation that looked out for companies over American lives and did not add aid for funding local and state governemnts. Uh, like the police and teachers.
So here we are with people losing unemployment benefits and economist predicting a strain on growth for the McConnell fueled hijinks and the GOP will lie about it until the cows come home. That's why they do not need to be in government and the party needs to be dismantled.
Oh and this is after letting a President spend money on Mar-A-Lago, a "Space Force", legal fees, and paying farmers to keep calm about the horribly planned trade war with China. The GOP is bad for America.
