IMHO, Eve should not have eaten the apple. Sorry to get controversial.
If GOD tells you not to eat the apple and you truly believe it is GOD then you should fucking listen to GOD!
I’ve never understood how truly religious people like priests can do vile sins. If you really believe this stuff and have faith then you should literally be on your best behavior all the time. All you have to do is be good for 70-ish years and then you can go to HEAVEN forever.
When I think of Heaven the image that I see in my brain—and I think this is true of lots of people my age at least—is the show the CareBears, where they are frolicking on a cloud shooting rainbows out of their stomaches
