We don't have the full story yet, but here's a quick informational thread about 5G conspiracy theories in case anyone is interested... By promoting Global Research and company, these states reproduced nonsense theories that the virus was made in a military lab at Fort Detrick by the US and sent to Wuhan via a military sports team. The plot for the bioweapon was concocted by select actors, they think...
Namely, George Soros and Bill Gates are said to have conspired, according to the theorists, in order to wage hybrid war against China and to shut people up in their homes where they can be more closely controlled as the globalist Deep State "resets" the world after Trump.

Now, the slogan "Great Reset" does exist, and is a watchword for re-assembling an economic system following the COVID crash, but conspiracy theorists believe that it is a globalist scheme involving vaccines laced with nanochips. They believe that the nanochip "receivers" will be implanted through vaccines into every human, and that 5G towers will be used to beam electromagnetic transmissions to each individual, and this can only work if individuals are 6 feet apart (hecking "social distancing" amirite?).
There's also a layer to the larger theory that COVID was orchestrated by the Deep State to cover for a planned financial crisis that was going to happen anyway in order to undermine Trump. Interesting here to think of a conspiracy theory as an assemblage (a la deLanda)...
Now, all the above theorists have been documented by myself and others on this site researching "multipolar" conspiracy theory networks. They tend to toe the same line generally: Syrian chemical weapons denial, MH17 denial, Xinjiang camps denial. See for instance:
So again, this is the way conspiracy theories spread—think of transversal/transductive networks. It's not top-down but it's boosted by powerful figures, so it's not bottom-up either. It's schizoid and plurivocal, but many conflicting theories converge and get further confused...
They contribute to syncretic, populist ecosystems that undermine rationality and trust, and generate paranoid cycles only worsened by the intensity of loneliness and isolation caused by the pandemic. Trump and co. have played into this milieu, boosting QAnon and flouting science.
Again, want to stress that we don't have a full grasp on all the facts of the attack yet. Inference is based on (1) they're looking into an older, white male w explosives training (2) apparently a penchant for 5G theories (3) the song "Downtown" indicates anti-lockdown sentiment.
The purpose here is just an informational thread about how we got where we are with the 5G stuff and its connection to anti-lockdowners, state actors, and far-reaching disinfo networks that support a "multipolar world." As to the reality of Nashville, it could be something personal, it could be a different guy, there could be more people involved—we don't know. I felt it might be useful in the context of 5G and anti-lockdown stuff to clarify some of those points and help inform the Discourse. :)
At the same time, some on 8kun and 4chan are claiming the bomber as "/ourguy/" and even pushing further threats... this is why it's crazy to attack a researcher for not fwding every threat (there are too many!).
