During World War II, Subhash Chandra Bose was under house arrest. He escaped and went to Moscow, from where he did not get help against British and hence, he then to Germany.

He met and sought help from Adolf Hitler, who initially refused to provide military help.

There were few reasons for refusing direct involvement in giving military help for Adolf Hitler; one of them, the major one was that he knew what India meant for British.

Having gone through WWI, He had limited resources.

In Hitler's own words, "India was the Achilles heel of Britain".

Though Hitler initially refused to help militarily, he agreed and provides other help and thus, setup "Free India Centre" and "Azad Hind Radio" through which S C Bose increased his reach to Indians.
Nazi Army hardly ever spared those armies who lost against them.

However, during WWII, Adolf Hitler did not k!ll the Indian army fighting with him on behalf of British, even after the Indian army lost.

He held them prisoners first and later agreed to release them to help Bose.
