like. look. yes I get it. but also, this time of year is hard for a lot of people anyways, this year it’s worse, people are struggling, can u not

(this does not apply to people who are like “oh we have a new president so I don’t have to care about politics or activism any more”)
a LOT of people are just barely hanging on by the thinnest of threads and if blind hope that things will improve next year is the thing keeping them going, I feel like that’s fine actually
