One the biggest blunders most commit is going looking for "Science" in scriptures. At some point in time each of us have indulged in such a pursuit. It is a futile & a pointless pursuit. A counterproductive one if you come to think of it. New age gurus cash in on such things.
Over the years I have learnt not to indulge in such useless pursuits. This I learnt only after reading Sitaram Goel. I accept & practice what's in our scriptures unquestioned. Now I have zero conflicts. I don't need Shastras to adhere to "Science". Infact I don't want it to.
Sitaram Goel sums it up very nicely in his book "Hindu society under siege"
