2/4 Built in the 18th century, the castle was named after the Spanish king who reigned at that time. Since its purpose was to stop future invasions, it covers an impressive area of 550,000 square metres!

3/4 One of the most interesting areas of the #CastilloDeSanFernando are its stables which are big enough to hold 450 horses!
It's also a historical site; in 1939, the final meeting of the Republican Spanish Court was held here.
