RIGHT. I'd appreciate a share for this because I'm tired of seeing so many of my friends get scammed. At this time of year, lots of 'companies' will be offering you a chance to make some extra money by joining their 'family' and 'working for yourself'.

This might look super legit. It might be totally legal: but I CANNOT stress this enough: it is a scam.

And...they are now targeting men, not just single mums.
1. They work by forcing you to spend $200=$5000 dollars as an 'investment' in buying their products (make up, hair products, vitamins) that you can then 'sell' to your friends and family. They KNOW you aren't going to sell anything: who would buy badly made junk?
2. Why do you think they'd have to sell through you if the product was any good? YOU are the customer, not your customers. Their whole business is set up to attract you to signing up as a 'seller', not sell their product or increase consumer numbers.
3. These companies work through pretending to give you a job when in actual fact, you are the CONSUMER. Their whole business works off the premise that they will make money, not you. It's not a charity. If they could make money selling to consumers with their tat, they WOULD.
4. They target men who think they are above scams by branding it as a 'hustle' or 'trading' scheme where they 'buy' bitcoin/men's products/shares and sell them on...again, totally worthless because you've already BOUGHT from them, so it doesn't matter if you ever manage to sell.
5. Another super dangerous scam I've seen men being targeted by is to join their 'trading team' by contributing your money and learning how to 'trade'. WARNING; trading for profit is a long term game and they have absolutely no incentive to see you get that money back.
6. The reason stockbrokers make a lot of money is because they can invest £500k upfront without planning to withdraw it and spend 20-30 years learning market trends. Your £2000 investment over a few weeks is peanuts: you will LOSE.
7. So please: whether you are being sold it as a ' #girlboss' ' #hustling' or ' #financehack' package: IT IS A SCAM. YOU ARE THE CONSUMER. YOU ARE NOT AN EMPLOYEE. If you want to make money trading, control your supply lines, educate yourself and build your own market.
