You actually can’t be an Armenian nationalist who also upholds white supremacist structures and hegemony. If you’re bragging about your closeness to whiteness then you don’t understand global geopolitics, macro-level analysis and how power works in general.

There is so much to be said about Armenian Americans who hate “liberals ” but are fine with neocons. As if American gays are the bigger threat to Armenians and not the American empire, its military industrial complex and the neoliberal economic system it upholds.

Our ppl were being killed by Israeli weapons who do you think made that possible? Y’all engage in all sorts of conspiracy theories about Jewish ppl instead of learning about Zionists and how Israel is basically an extension of the American military industrial complex.

There is no Armenian nationalism without solidarity to other oppressed ppl and nations. Without solidarity to the Armenian poor. Without support for redistribution of wealth - be it the wealth of Armenian oligarchs or the profits of the global capitalist supply chain.

I see nationalism as a tool. Many don’t and I don’t blame them - in its worst forms it oppresses ppl both outwards and inwards. But when used by the right forces who are not gatekeepers it can encourage masses to organize for the common good. And I see that as a good thing.
