The best diet and lifestyle change you can make in the New Year is one that will be sustainable and easy to stick to
1) It's easy to want to get all your results in a day, a week etc - but that won't happen, regardless of what all the fad diet and 'body burning' gurus (liars) will claim
2) You need to create an environment that fosters positive change - getting people around you with the same goals and having realistic expectations is a great place to start
3) As the saying goes, we wildly overestimate what we can do in a year and underestimate what we can do in 10. Same goes here - focusing on what positive changes we can make over the whole of 2021 is more impactful than what we can do in the first week
4) Making small, daily changes will stack up over time and lead to huge results.
5) My tips? Wherever you can, increase the amount of plants you eat - whole grains, fruits, vegetables etc. Wherever you can, reduce your intake of processed and packaged foods. Don't expect it to happen overnight, and feel the process 🌱
