The mindset of an achiever

A thread >>>
Decide what you want and resolve not to quit until you get it.

Remind yourself that whatever that is worthwhile costs a lot of effort and sacrifice.
Resolve to stay true to your goal as long as you still want it.

No matter how hopeless it seems atimes, stubbornly persist until you succeed.
Prepare for the possibility of failure and mentally accept the consequences of the worst that can happen if you fail.

Now do everything within your arsenal to ensure you win.
Instead of being fixated about failure, channel your energy into following flexible paths to prevail.

Imaginarily see yourself as someone with a rickety old car competing access to a narrow road with another driver with a brand new range rover sports.
Ideally, you ought to make way for the car with more value but if you stay on the road, what do you have to lose?

Pulling off the road and getting stuck means you are going to spend more money to pull out your low valued car if it gets stuck.
That also means you may miss your appointment.

Staying on the road and ignoring the oncoming and more beautiful expensive car means the other driver will either pull off the road or hit your car.
This mindset of persisting even when the odds are stack against you is the attitude of an achiever. Enjoy it.

Keep your mind strong. Focus on your simple routes, accept that whatever you lose can be regained and you won't be the first.
Do not worry about losing what you have as that would make you scared of failure.

Worrying will wreck your confidence and mark you out to pass on opportunities for fear of possible ridicule if you fail. Avoid it.
Accepting that you can't lose more than you can rebuild will increase your hunger for success and spur you till you get your hands on the prize.

Self reflect and learn from every failed act to sharpen your skill.
Every misstep becomes a learning field to improve your aptitude.

Remind yourself that victory is built on defeats.
Point out your missteps, set them right and determine never to repeat them.

Understanding that you have nothing to lose will catalyse you to put everything you can muster to triumph.
And when prosperity comes, you won't be surprised.

End.
