As stated below from the Mertopole acute care availability and itilisation. ICUs are at 79% capacity, but only 7% of said capacity is covid patients!!!!

We all have friends and family who are Drs, to be more specific two in the WC and in Gauteng, and the reason the hospitals are now "filling" up, is because of all the postponed surgeries that can no longer be pushed out.
Some field hospitals have been decommissioned because there weren't enough covid patients to warrant maintaining them. No more space was required as all the facilities had enough beds to accommodate even a 2nd wave!!

I laugh every time I read the words Covid deniers...because let me explain something. I am a Child, Wife, Mother, Friend, Provider and the list goes on. Do you really think I WANT any of the people I love to get sick or die??? I have lost more ppl to suicide than Covid. Think pls

Friend told me this morning that both his parents had tested positive for covid, and Dr admitted them both for preventative measures rather than critical ones! But hospitals are too full they say 🙄🙄🙄
