I'm curious what the official cause of death of Brodie Lee is. All that has been mentioned is a "non-COVID-19" lung issue. Which issue? Was he known to have lung issues? He was, however, exposed to COVID-19. We do know that.

Brodie went on to appear on the September 30th episode and lost the title on October 7th. He also made his last Twitter post that day and hadn't been heard of again outside of the AEW Unrestricted podcast. He stopped appearing on BTE as well soon after.

Brodie's passing and the reason given makes no sense to me. His wife has made no mention of him being sick for the last two months on IG. It's puzzling, honestly. Was this a sudden passing? It doesn't seem so, and the sequence of events doesn't make it seem so either.
