All systemic issues exist because system leaders prevent system from changing. They determine limits for others within which people are allowed to navigate not beyond them. This applies to racism, xenophobia, misogyny. This applies to people's health too.
Verbal condemnation means nothing without action. Hiring one woman, or one immigrant, or one person of color allows to put a checkmark next to the word diversity. But women, POC & immigrants continue to exist within limits defined by system. System doesn't change & it profits.
As for population health, the system profits from unhealthy nation. Prevention is not profitable, disease is. System talks about healthy life style but promotes unhealthy style in every comercial. System doesn't want people get healthier so they don't stop consuming med services
I gotta say capitalism & kommunism have a lot in common. The corrupt corporates or the kommunist elite are the ones to determine people's rules & limits. They deliberately prevent people from getting tools to be able to grow and go beyond these limits.
This ruling elite determines living conditions, education, financial status, career ladder, opportunity to get any job or a particular job. It determines also how healthy you are allowed to be to keep system profiting.
System doesn't want equal opportunities as it means to give somebody else an opportunity to be the new ruler & to change the system. Historically we know eventually this explodes. In a form of revolution or some chaos & anarchy. Kinda a thread of hopelessness.
System likes educational loans. The need to pay loans makes people agreeable to systemic rules & even injustices bs they need jobs to pay loans. Loan forgiveness programs operate within limits set by the system. Where else person finishes education w 300-400 k in loans?
